Vendor Description

Headshop brands are a dime a dozen, but they serve a unique purpose in the grand scheme of kratom things. Serving customers who need a quick fix or those who might be dealing with shipment delays, headshop brands earn their lot by catering to buyers with nowhere else to turn.

Among these countless vendors, names like The Kratom Company attempt to rise above the competition. And while that might seem impossible in a sea of indistinguishable choices, The Kratom Company turns out to be a decent choice that could be a cut above the rest.

The Kratom Company Product and Service Overview

Considering the fact that some vendors have been around for over a decade, The Kratom Company is what you might call a fetal venture. The brand first opened its doors in 2018 with the objective of providing the consumer base with a selection of high quality kratom. Of course, we’ve all heard that before.

At a glance, the vendor’s website definitely looks much more polished than competitors of the same longevity. In fact, their minimalist branding and professional packaging have earned them the respect of numerous customers who place a high value on appearances and first impressions.

Selling powders, capsules, extracts, and bundle deals, The Kratom Company’s modest selection of products and strains already place them ahead of a majority of head shop brands. That’s because if you’ve been on the smoke shop scene, you probably already know how limited most of their spreads can be.

Aside from their own website, The Kratom Company also partners up with various local gasoline stations and vape shops to deliver their products to a wider, more targeted consumer base. And in true head shop fashion, a lot of their physical store partners only offer their products in packets of up to 3oz.

Even on their website, weights for their powders are pretty limited. They offer bundles however that give you discounted kratom as long as you meet a minimum order requirement. Capsules on the other hand, provide slightly better options if you’re looking to buy in bulk, with their biggest bottles containing 500 caps.

Well, what about pricing? Unfortunately, The Kratom Company is still a full-on vape shop name. So their kratom products aren’t necessarily the cheapest. All things considered, they still prey on customers who have no other options and who might be willing to pay any price to get the fix they desperately need at the moment.

The Kratom Company Product Cost and Price Comparison

On the topic of prices, The Kratom Company makes no attempt at being called a budget-friendly vendor. The brand unapologetically slaps some of the steepest prices on their products, which cements their reputation as an expensive vape shop vendor.

Powders Starts at $24.99 for 84g Starts at $8 for 25g Starts at $3.50 for 25g
$25 for 100g $35 for 500g
$70 for 500g $60 for 1000g
$105 for 1000g
Capsules Starts at $24.99 for 75ct $11 for 50ct Starts at $5 for 30ct
$39.99 for 150ct $38 for 200ct $60 for 500ct
$99.99 for 500ct $125 for 1000ct $100 for 1000ct
$205 for 2000ct

It’s not hard to see that The Kratom Company’s products are significantly more expensive than other reputable vendors. At $24.99 per 84g, the vendor sells their powder at a cost per gram of 0.3¢. If that doesn’t seem too expensive to you, consider that the two other options on the table sell for as low as 0.1¢ and 0.06¢.

But hey, what did you expect from a head shop vendor? All things considered, The Kratom Company isn’t out here to try to appeal to budget-conscious consumers.

Although their products have been said to be just fine, the brand ultimately caters to customers who are willing to pay the extra cost to get their hands on kratom without a moment to lose.

The Kratom Company Customer Reviews

While their website overflows with feedback for their products, the rest of the internet remains hush hush on The Kratom Company brand. Of course, that might be a keyword search issue because of the generic nature of their name, making it difficult for Google to index any relevant information about the vendor during a search.

“This is really wonderful kratom. Happy to have found this brand!”- The Kratom Company website

“Been buying from The Kratom Company now for over a year and they have never changed their kratom. They will even go out of stock and lose sales if they can’t get their exact strains before they sell their customers something else. That is the best and only thing I ask for from any kratom vendor – consistency.” – The Kratom Company website

“They definitely put me first as the customer. Nuff said. Kratom is top-notch as well.” – The Kratom Company website

“Kratom users everywhere should get on board with this company. Now I have finally found [a consistent source] in The Kratom Company. The product itself is second to none, and the prices are unbeatable.” – Facebook page

“[E]asy fast delivery, knowledge staff, and customer service is amazing. Definitely recommend.” – Facebook page

The Kratom Company Complaints

It’s hard to find complaints about the vendor on their own website, which raises questions about the legitimacy of the feedback they allow on their own internet turf. Nonetheless, there are other sources on the web that provide limited yet insightful tidbits about the vendor and its products.

“Samples are expensive.” – The Kratom Company website

“Kratom is good, don’t like how this package keeps changing. Pick a sample product and pick a price.” – The Kratom Company website

“OVERPRICED.” – The Kratom Company website

“If you’re looking to find out if this kratom is right for you just read the reviews. Don’t waste your money on this package because it’s a little expensive for what you get.” – The Kratom Company website

“I got impatient, and in hopes to strike gold, randomly bought from a local headshop, the brand was “The Kratom Company”, the bag was also bunk.” – Reddit

The Kratom Company Discount Codes and Coupons

Similar to other vendors that sell their products on the web, The Kratom Company gives access to discounts and promotional offers by way of their mailing list. They’re also relatively active on their socials. So following them on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram might grant you access to exclusive discounts now and again.

Other than that, the vendor offers a bundle deal that lets you pick any five products out of their line-up. With five items in your cart, the website automatically calculates a 20% discount which may significantly decrease the amount you spend.

The Kratom Company Lab Testing

Just like many other head shop vendors, The Kratom Company has zero information on its website about the status of their products in the lab testing department. So there’s no guarantees about the purity or potency of their kratom selection.

As a head shop brand however, The Kratom Company aims to standardize the quality of their products so that there’s very little variability when it comes to the experience that each customer gets out of different batches. Nonetheless, that doesn’t really provide any assurance regarding the safety of their range.

American Kratom Association Membership

Kratom legislature struggles to move forward for the lack of regulation. After all, how can local governments confidently legalize kratom for the use of their citizenry when they can’t be sure of its safety and sanitation?

Well, that’s what the American Kratom Association (AKA) hopes to change. The initiative works as a regulatory body that inspects vendors based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the sanitation of their facilities and the safety of the procedures they use to handle and process kratom.

Vendors that pass the AKA Good Manufacturing Practices inspection receive certification. As of writing however, The Kratom Company has not submitted itself for an audit, so we can’t really be sure how clean and safe their company is behind the scenes.

Is The Kratom Company Legit?

Sure, they might not have any history of fraud, scams, recalls, and legal battles. But that’s not all there is to consider. Sadly, the vendor is one of the few that uses questionable claims to advertise their products.

On their socials and their website, the vendor states that their kratom can help with a sundry of medical conditions, which is obviously against FDA regulations. While that might not seem like such a big issue to end users, it’s important to remember that vendors who overtly go against FDA guidelines work against the collective cause.

Should You Try The Kratom Company?

Maybe if your stash is running low and you need a quick fix, The Kratom Company might be able to satisfy your needs momentarily. But because of their expensive prices and limited selection, they’re hardly a go-to.

All things considered, there are way more choices that offer good quality kratom for a lower cost. But if time is of the essence and you need a dose now, then a trip to your local vape shop for a small pack of The Kratom Company’s stuff might not be such a bad idea.
