With so many other vendors on the market, Apex Kratom tries to set itself apart with a tried and tested tactic — free samples. These guys go big on freebies, offering to send out samples of their kratom strains for a meager shipping cost of just $2.99. Needless to say, the clever tactic rocketed the vendor into certain popularity.
But once you tread beyond the freebies, the discounts, and the fun marketing ploys, Apex Kratom might not actually sit too close to the apex. And that’s not mere conjecture. Without enough reviews online to bolster their reputation, Apex turns out to be just another vendor.
Visit Apex Kratom’s website, and you’ll find hardly any information about the vendor. They do disclose however that they’re located in Northern Ireland, which might have more to do with their merchant account than anything else. Aside from that however, we don’t really get a face to go with the brand name, which might raise a red flag.
Hop on over to their homepage, and Apex Kratom keeps things nice and simple. They provide a general list of their best sellers that include both powders and capsules. They also have a dedicated page for freebies which they also advertise loudly and proudly using eye catching side banners.
Powders at Apex Kratom come in packs of 28g, 56g, 112g, 224g, 250g, 448g, 500g, and 1000g, which are some pretty strange increments. If you’re looking to buy capsules, you can get your hands on their pills in packs of 1oz, 2oz, and 4oz.
Take heed though — Apex Kratom’s products might challenge your budget. These picks come at significantly more expensive prices than the usual kratom finds. So you could end up spending double the cost of choices sold through other reputable vendors.
Nonetheless, customers seem satisfied with the products and their prices. Well, at least on their website. The vendor leaves room for customers to leave comments about their products. But because anyone can leave a review, it’s tough to identify which ones are actually legitimate.
Elsewhere on the web, kratom users remain relatively quiet about the brand and their products. Aside from a few passing mentions on Reddit, you won’t really see Redditors championing the brand on the forum. They also don’t have the best ratings on Google reviews.
It’s interesting to see reviews on their website, praising the vendor for their ‘affordable product.’ That’s because if you really take the time to compare them to other vendors on the web, they’re far from cheap.
|APEX KRATOM||BOTANICAL BUNNY||CAROLINA KRATOM|
|Powders||Starts at $8.99 for 28g||Starts at $5 for 28g||Starts at $12.64 for 30g|
|$50.99 for 250g||$12 for 100g||$22.27 for 100g|
|$70.99 for 500g||$25 for 250g||$75.57 for 1000g|
|$129.99 for 1000g||$90 for 1000g|
Just to be clear, neither Botanical Bunny nor Carolina Kratom have the cheapest kratom on the web. But even then, these popular names turn out to sell their products for much less than Apex.
For instance, Apex’s 28g packet sells for $8.99 or 0.32¢ per gram, while Botanical Bunny’s same weight sells for just $5 or 0.17¢ per gram. Kilograms at Apex go for 0.13¢ a gram, versus Botanical Bunny’s 0.09¢ and Carolina Kratom’s 0.075¢.
And let’s not forget Herbal RVA. Although not listed in the table above, this US-based vendor sells the cheapest kilograms at just 0.069¢ per gram. That comes close to just half the price of Apex Kratom’s kilos. Not to mention the fact that Herbal RVA has long been praised for their ultra high quality, consistent kratom.
Don’t be fooled by reviews posted online claiming that Apex Kratom gets tons of love on forums like Reddit. If anything, Apex is hardly mentioned on the cut-throat Reddit stage. In fact, outside of their own website and the four reviews they have on Google, you’ll hardly find any positive feedback about the vendor and their products.
“The best spot for kratom. So fresh and such a clean taste. The shipping is the best. I have never had a company ship so fast. Customer service and prices are unbelievable. Nobody can beat them.” – Google reviews
“Best vendor that I have found. Fast delivery and top notch Kratom with a wide variety of strains.” – Google reviews
“I’ve ordered Kratom from a couple different vendors, but This company is definitely the best! Super fast delivery time!” – Google reviews
“Great product , and great customer service” – Apex Kratom website
“Great for pain, relaxation, and anxiety. Apex always delivers on time and most of the time, they are early even. They are also the cheapest in regards to price out of all the other companies that I have researched. Just give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!” – Apex Kratom website
Just like positive reviews for Apex, complaints are also hard to come by. But there are a few that leak through the cracks. All together though, this significant lack of feedback for the vendor may reflect their prominence and popularity, or their lack thereof.
“I ordered some kratom capsules and 5 days went buy with no tracking info so I emailed them and no response. Two days later I called and left voicemail and no answer. I called again no answer. I have been waiting for 2 weeks now and I still don’t have my shipment and no response from them. Very upset won’t be buying here no more.” – Google reviews
On their website, the vendor gets quite a few reviews for a select number of their products. And while some buyers found it fit to leave four star reviews, they don’t really talk about their reasons for taking out a star.
The vendor’s Google business page also gets some pretty low ratings at just 3.3 stars out of 5. And because no one really talks about them on Reddit, it’s hard to truly understand how they fair in terms of product quality and customer support.
Of course, their biggest promotional offer would have to be their free samples. They send out 10g sample packs, and all you need to pay for is shipping. And, as with most kratom vendors, Apex offers a 10% discount for first time buyers who subscribe to their mailing list.
Since they don’t have any socials, their website remains the best place to find discounts and coupons for their products. They do have an active Reddit user account, however they don’t really post to often on the site.
The whole purpose of lab testing is to guarantee that a vendor’s products aren’t contaminated. Third-party labs test products for adulterants like salmonella and e. coli, which are a lot more common than you might think. Other vendors go the extra mile and have their products tested for mitragynine content.
Apex Kratom makes no mention on testing on their website. So it’s not entirely clear whether they actually get their products evaluated for contamination and potency. On top of that, they’re also not an AKA-certified vendor.
The American Kratom Association verifies that brands minimize the chances of contamination by evaluating all of their facilities and procedures using their Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) program. And since Apex isn’t GMP certified, there’s no telling what goes on behind their facility doors.
Trust the kratom consumer base to sound the alarms when a vendor stands to harm the freedom of speciosa. Fortunately for Apex Kratom, they have yet to get their name dragged into any legal issues and recalls. So despite their lack of reviews and their steep pricing, Apex remains a legitimate kratom source.
When you put everything into perspective, it’s tough to identify anything that really sets Apex Kratom apart. But if you were just hoping to explore your options and be able to say that you tried every vendor in the book, then there might be reason to give Apex Kratom a shot.
To be honest, their free samples definitely seem like a good deal especially if you’re just looking to try. But if you were hoping to find a solid go-to, Apex’s lack of reviews and exorbitant prices might disqualify them for the part.
