The Best Kratom Strains for Euphoria

The Best Kratom Strains for Euphoria

We all have bad days. But thankfully, kratom might be able to help. Aside from being pain-relieving and sedating, the leaves of the Mitragyna Speciosa tree are also known for their mood-boosting potential.

Hundreds of people around the world have incorporated kratom into their lives as a way to elevate their mood. With a generally low addiction potential and only mild withdrawal symptoms when used responsibly , kratom is trusted by many as a sensible alternative to other similar substances.

But some types of kratom seem to be more euphoric than others. And because kratom can affect everyone differently, finding the most euphoric kratom strain can take a lot of trial and error.

Fortunately, we’ve done some research for you. After evaluating dozens of unique kratom strains and aggregating user reviews, we’ve got some insights that will hopefully make it easier to get the mood-boost you’re after!

Green Malay

Green Malay seems to offer a strong balance of euphoria and stimulation. As of this writing, it’s one of the highest-scoring strains for euphoria that we’ve evaluated so far.

Green Malay has been favored by users seeking to ease anxiety and depression. It also boasts an above-average duration, with effects potentially lasting up to 3.5 hours.

Depending on one’s preferences, the strain’s low sedation score might be somewhat of a turn-off. However, for those seeking strong euphoria and stimulation, Green Malay might just fit the bill.

Yellow Horn

With strong euphoric potential, Yellow Horn seems like a solid choice as a mood-boosting strain.

Some users have also praised the strain’s ability to increase focus. Yellow Horn may also provide moderate pain relief, but a low sedation score makes it unlikely to sap away your energy.

However, the strain has been described as “subtle” and “low-key.” And, despite receiving high user praise, Yellow Horn’s effects are only expected to last you around 2.5 hours at moderate doses (2.5-5g).

Red Papua

The rare and mysterious Red Papua might lack the energizing qualities of its green cousin, but seems to make up for it by packing quite a euphoric “punch.”

As of this writing, Red Papua has an eye-catching 8 out of 10 on our euphoria review scale and may promote feelings of happiness and comfort. However, unlike Yellow Horn and Green Malay, it seems to possess a considerably sedating nature and is probably most ideal for end-of-day use.

As a bonus, the strain may also offer moderate pain relief, so if that’s on your list of strain priorities, Red Papua likely has you covered!

White Borneo

White Borneo seems to provide equal parts euphoria and energy, with some users favoring its “jitter-free” nature. As a result, some use the strain as an alternative to caffeine and other stimulants.

Users also praise White Borneo’s mood and focus-boosting potential. Not to be outdone, White Borneo also seems to possess an above-average duration, with effects lasting about 3.5 hours at moderate doses of 2.5-5g.

That said, this powerhouse of a strain might be too much to handle for some, as there have been reports of nausea and dizziness at higher doses. White Borneo might also disappoint those in pain, as its analgesic effects seem to pale in comparison to Red Papua and Yellow Horn.

Red Malay

To round out this list, we chose the cousin of the most euphoric kratom strain mentioned in this post.

Red Malay might be slightly less euphoric than Green Malay. But it also seems to be much more relaxing. So, if you skipped Green Malay because energizing kratom isn’t your thing, Red Malay might be a suitable alternative.

As a red-veined strain, Red Malay could have a slight edge over Green Malay in the pain relief department. But thankfully, both strains seem to be long-lasting.

Conclusion

Regardless of whether you’re a new or experienced kratom user, finding a euphoric kratom strain can be challenging. At the very least, we hope we’ve been able to help narrow your search!
